๐บ No. 7: Guess What? Life Had Other Plans for My Schedule, but Here Comes the Tuesday Newsletter on a Thursday Introducing Substacks on US Politics
- A Colorful Bouquet of Substack Notes & Newsletters ๐บ My Tuesday Collection of "Notes" for You to Discover ๐๐ง a ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ!
Hello, dear,
The past few weeks have been exhausting for everyone, donโt you think? Iโd say weโre entering a new era, and these changes feel quite unsettling to me.
Everything I stand for is currently falling apart: human dignity, human rights, freedom, a social society and welfare state, and above all, democracy.
In todayโs bouquet, Iโve selected notes for you that primarily focus on U.S. politics. But can I even still call it politics? It feels more like pure madness.
Before our eyes, the world's greatest democracy is being destroyedโnot step by step, but at a breathtaking pace.
I expected this to happen when Trump was elected in November 2024. What I still donโt understand is why so many people in the U.S. fail to grasp the fundamentals of democracy and so willingly follow Trumpโs propaganda.
But before we move on, I want to remind you that my eBook is coming out in April. If you're interested and would like to support me, you can pre-order it here:

The "Notes" feature on Substack gives readers a unique way to explore and engage with their favorite writers on a deeper level. Itโs a space to discover quick updates, fresh ideas, and behind-the-scenes moments that might not make it into a full newsletter. Youโll also have the chance to join discussions, comment, and connect with other readers who share your interests.
Every week, I collect my notes and those of other writers and creators so you can explore subjects you enjoy more deeply.
Let me introduce Dr. Alison Opalko-Berry, who lives in Munich, Germany, with her husband and three children. Aly, as she refers to herself here on Substack, is skilled in transforming complex concepts into user-friendly digital media. She is also a published researcher with 12 peer-reviewed publications.
She moved to Substack only recently, but you can find more videos on YouTube here.
I chose the following two notes for you:
โAt least high school English courses wonโt run out of material for analyzing propaganda strategies any time soonโฆ.assuming theyโre still allowed to do that.
Check out my latest Substack, which is going over this and another example.โ

โU.S. ๐บ๐ธ propaganda is using the same playbook they used to warn us about during Nazi Germany ๐ฉ๐ช.โ

And then there is Joyce Vance, a former United States Attorney who is currently a law professor and a legal analyst for MSNBC and NBC.
This is one of her notes:
I also shared one of my notes today, and it is not about U.S. Politics.
Let me know your thoughts, and share the post if you find it useful.
Ask questions, and drop them below. Iโll answer every single one!
Cheers,
